Based on the Donnell shell theory and smeared stiffeners technique, the governing equations of functionally graded annular spherical segments with functionally graded eccentrically stiffeners are derived to investigate the buckling of these structures under compression load and radial pressure. The segment is reinforced by parallel eccentrically functionally graded stiffener system. Approximate solutions are assumed to satisfy the simply supported boundary condition and Galerkin method is applied to obtain closed-form relations of linear buckling loads. Numerical results are given to evaluate effects of stiffeners, volume fraction index and dimensional parameters to the buckling of structure.
