This paper aims to present the application of the CDM method in some thermal power projects along the Hau river. Many sections of these projects has chosen the CDM piles as the retaining Will and the foundation support. This paper describes the soft soil characteristics in this area, the CDM design of different sections and also the field execution aspect. The field performance shows that the CDM solution satisfies the technical requirements
